Egg Breakfast Sandwhich


Ingredients and cost:
  • 2 eggs ($0.25)
  • Bagel ($0.16 on sale)
  • Housemates Milk (Free!)
  • Tomato ($0.10 at $0.99/lb)
  • Lettuce ($0.05 at $0.99/head)
  • Housemates Salt and pepper (Free!)
  • Any other ingredients you want ie. cheese, peppers, onions, etc. (assorted costs)
Total cost: $0.56


Recipe:
  1. Toast bagel, or not.
  2. Whisk the 2 eggs and a little milk together. Add salt and pepper.
  3. Pour egg mixture into oiled frying pan.
  4. Cook eggs like an omelet, then fold to the size of the bagel.
  5. Slice tomato.
  6. Assemble.
  7. Eat.
Review:
A delicious morning sandwich. Quick and easy to make, along with minimal clean up(!).  But, be careful and let the eggs cool before you enjoy, as they are hot and I burned my mouth.
